It works by exposing water to ultraviolet light (typically at 254 nm wavelength), which penetrates the cell walls of microorganisms and disrupts their DNA, preventing reproduction and rendering them harmless.

UV treatment is widely used in drinking water plants, RO/DM water systems, pharmaceutical industries, food & beverage units, hospitals, laboratories, swimming pools, and wastewater reuse applications. It is usually installed as a final disinfection stage after filtration or RO to ensure microbiologically safe water.

The UV plant does not change the taste, odor, pH, or chemical composition of water, making it an environmentally friendly and maintenance-efficient solution

An Iron Removal Plant (IRP) is a water treatment system designed to remove dissolved iron (Fe²⁺/Fe³⁺) and often manganese from groundwater or surface water. Excess iron in water causes reddish-brown staining, metallic taste, pipe corrosion, scaling, and fouling of RO membranes, softeners, boilers, and process equipment.

The plant works on the principle of oxidation followed by filtration. Dissolved ferrous iron is converted into insoluble ferric iron using aeration or chemical oxidation, and then removed by passing the water through a specialized filter media bed.
